Pak Commerce Minister invites French Entrepreneurs and businessmen to invest in Pakistan
Paris 16th October 2017. Mohammad Pervaiz Malik Minister of Commerce and Textile has invited French entrepreneurs, and investors to benefit from Pakistan’s business friendly policies and invest in Pakistan in the fields of energy, infrastructure development, food processing, automobiles, tourism and information technology.
The Federal Minister is visiting Paris as part of his European tour to discuss bilateral economic & commercial relations and as well as seek support for GSP Plus Review.
During his stay in Paris, he held separate meetings with Mr. Jean Baptiste Lemoyne Secretary of State, Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, Mr. Phillipe Gautier, President MEDEF International, Mr. Thiery Pflmlin President Pakistan France-Business Council and Mr. Didier Kling, President Paris Chamber of Commerce. He also visited French National Assembly and met with members of Pakistan-French Friendship group.
The Minister noted that the existing volume of bilateral trade of US$1.4 billion was not commensurate with the true potential of the two economies and called for more exchanges and business linkages to increase the trade volume.
During the meetings, upgradation of the Administrative, Economic and Trade Committee from Secretary to Ministerial level was also discussed to make it an effective and productive forum. The Minister also proposed revival of Air France flights to Pakistan to enhance connectivity and facilitate business travel.
The Minister also appreciated the French support in the EU for trade related concessions, especially for GSP Plus and hoped that France would continue to support Pakistan during the GSP Plus review process.

پیرس: 16 اکتوبر2017ء: محمد پرویز ملک وزیر برائے تجارت و صنعت نے فرانسیسی کاروباری افراد اور صنعتکاروں کو پاکستان کی سرمایہ کاری کی دوستانہ پالیسیوں سے فائدہ اٹھانے اور پاکستان میں توانائی، بنیادی تعمیری شعبے کی ترقی، خوراک کی پروسیسنگ، آٹوموبائل، سیاحت اور مواصلاتی نظام میں سرمایہ کاری کی دعوت دی ہے۔
وفاقی وزیر کا پیرس کا دورہ یورپی ممالک کے دوروں کا حصہ ہے جس کا مقصد دوطرفہ اقتصادی اور کاروباری تعلقات کے فروغ کے ساتھ ساتھ جی ایس پی پلس کا جائزہ لینا اور اس کی حمایت طلب کرنا ہے۔
انہوں نے پیرس میں اپنے قیام کے دوران جناب جین بپتیست لیمویوں سیکرٹری سٹیٹ، وزارت یورپ و خارجہ امور فرانس، جناب فلپس جوتیغ صدر میڈیف انٹرنیشنل، جناب تھیری فلملین صدر پاکستان فرانس بزنس کونسل اور جناب ڈیڈر کلنگ، صدر پیرس چیمبر آف کامرس سے علحیدہ علحیدہ ملاقاتین بھی کیں۔ وفاقی وزیر نے فرانسیسی قومی اسمبلی کا دورہ بھی کیا اور پاکستان فرانس دوستی گروپ سے ملاقات بھی کی۔
وفاقی وزیر نے کہا کہ اگرچہ دوطرفہ تجار ت میں مسلسل اضافہ ہو رہا ہے تاہم موجودہ تجارتی حجم جو کہ 1.4بلین ڈالر ہے اس میں مزید بہتری لانے کی ضرورت ہے۔
وزیر نے دوطرفہ سیکرٹری سطح پر موجود معاشی، تجارتی اور تنظیمی ڈھانچے کو وزارتی سطح پر لے جانے کی ضرورت پر زور دیا تاکہ اسے مزید موثر اور فعال بنایا جاسکے۔ وفاقی وزیر نے ایئر فرانس کی پروازوں کو پاکستان میں اپنی پروازیں شروع کرنے کی پیشکش کی ہے تاکہ مسافروں اور کاروباری افراد کو بہتر سفری سہولیات میسر آسکیں۔
وفاقی وزیر نے یورپی یونین کی تجارت سے متعلقہ رعائیتوں میں فرانس کے تعاون، خصوصی طور پرجی ایس پی پلس میں تعاون پر ان کی تعریف کی اور امید ظاہر کی کہ فرانس جی ایس پی پلس کی جائزہ پالیسیوں میں پاکستان کی حمایت جاری رکھے گا۔
A Special Fashion show held in Paris to showcase seven decades of Pakistan’s Fashion
Paris October 4, 2017. A special fashion show by the world renowned Pakistani fashion designer Ms. Nilofer Shahid was organized by the Embassy of Pakistan to France in Paris to showcase seven decades of Pakistan’s fashion. The event was a part of 70 years of Pakistan’s Independence celebrations.
The Fashion show held in the Embassy of Pakistan was attended by senior representatives of French fashion industry, high end department stores, fashion schools and institutes, local actors and celebrities from the TV and film industry and the French and Pakistani Media in large number.
The Ambassador of Pakistan to France Moin ul Haque in his welcoming remarks said that Pakistan is a progressive, fast developing and a forward looking country. He said that Pakistan’s fashion designers have received international acclaim and recognition for their talent and creative work. The Ambassador expressed the hope that the event would help in introducing Pakistani fashion designers and their work to the French fashion industry and creating useful linkages for further cooperation in this field.
The first segment of the show was specifically focused on seven decades of fashion trends in Pakistan through a beautiful display of past and contemporary styles.
The second segment of the show was Nilofer Shahid’s tribute to world’s famous Dutch painter Rembrandt. Her creative dresses depicting Rembrandts life and artistic career was highly praised by all guests.
The Fashion show was also a part of the public diplomacy initiative launched by the Embassy for promotion of soft image of Pakistan.
Ms. Nilofer Shahid called “the runway Empress of Pakistan: is one of the greatest fashion designer of Pakistan. She is a recipient of many international awards including “Grade de Chevalier” bestowed on her by the Government of France in recognition of her contributions towards arts and culture.

پیرس: 4 اکتوبر2017ء: پاکستان کی مشہور فیشن ڈیزائنر محترمہ نیلوفر شاہد کے تیار کردہ سات دہائیوں پر مشتمل فیشن کے ملبوسات کی ایک خصوصی نمائش سفارت خانہ پاکستان پیرس میں منعقد کی گئی۔ اس تقریب کا انعقاد سفارت خانہ پاکستان نے کیا تھا۔ یہ تقریب پاکستان کی آزادی کے ستر سال مکمل ہونے پر کی جانی والی تقریبا ت کا حصہ ہے۔
یہ فیشن شو سفارت خانہ پاکستان میں منعقد کیا گیا جس میں فرانسیسی فیشن انڈسٹری کے سینئر نمائندگان،بڑے کاروباری مراکز،فیشن سکولز اور اداروں، مقامی اداکاروں، ٹی وی اور فلم انڈسٹری سے تعلق رکھنے والے اداکاروں، فرانسیسی اور پاکستانی صحافیوں نے بڑی تعداد میں شرکت کی۔
سفیر پاکستان نے افتتاحی تقریب سے خطاب کے دوران کہا کہ پاکستان تیزی سے آگے بڑھنے کی راہیں تلاش کرنے والا ملک ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستانی فیشن ڈیزائنرز نے اپنے تجربے اور تخلیقی کام کی وجہ سے پوری دنیا میں اپنا مقام بنایا ہے۔ سفیر پاکستان نے اس امید کا اظہار بھی ظاہر کیا کہ یہ تقریب سے پاکستانی فیشن ڈیزائنرز اور ان کے کام کو فرانسیسی فیشن انڈسٹری میں متعارف کروانے اور اس شعبے میں رابطوں کے فروغ میں مدد گار ثابت ہوگا۔
اس شو کے پلے حصے میں پاکستان کی سات دہائیوں پر مشتمل ماضی کے فیشن کے ملبوسات کی نمائش کی گئی۔
شو کا دوسرے حصے میں نیلو فر شاہد کی طرف سے بین الاقوامی شہرت یافتہ ڈچ پینٹر ریمبرنڈ کو خراج تحسین پیش کیا گیا۔ ان کے فنی سفر اور تخلیقی ملبوسات مہمانوں کی طرف سے خوب داد صول کی۔
یہ فیشن شو سفارت خانہ پاکستان کی جانب سے پاکستان کے مثبت امیج کو واضح کرنے کیلئے شروع کی گئی عوامی سفارت کاری کا حصہ تھا۔
محترمہ نیلوفر شاہد پاکستان کی ایک نامور فیشن ڈیزائنر ہیں۔ انہو ں نے کئی بین الاقوامی ایوارڈز بھی حاصل کیئے ہوئے ہیں جس میں گارڈ دی شولیئر قابل دکر ایواڈ ہے۔ جو کہ انہیں حکومت فرانس کی جانب سے آرٹ و کلچر کے فروغ میں حصہ لینے کے اعتراف میں دیا گیا۔

L’Ambassadeur du Pakistan en France et le Délégué permanent du Pakistan auprès de l’UNESCO, S.E.M. Moin ul Haque a prononcé ces mots lors de sa déclaration hier à la 202e session du Conseil exécutif de l’UNESCO à Paris.
L’Ambassadeur Moin ul Haque a déclaré que l’UNESCO avait fourni à la communauté mondiale une plateforme idéale de dialogue, de discours intellectuel et de plaidoyer en faveur d’un pouvoir doux, pour combler les écarts entre les nations et œuvrer collectivement à la paix et à la prospérité. Il a assuré que le Pakistan continuerait de collaborer avec la communauté internationale pour œuvrer en faveur d’un monde équitable, juste, tolérant, ouvert et socialement inclusif afin de l’améliorer pour les générations futures.
L’Ambassadeur a remercié la Directrice générale sortante, Mme. Irina Bokova, pour les services qu’elle a rendus à l’UNESCO et pour sa gestion efficace et compétente de l’organisation. L’élection du nouveau directeur général a également lieu au cours de cette session. L’Ambassadeur Moin ul Haque a dit qu’il espérait que le nouveau Directeur général poursuivrait, avec le plein appui des Etats membres de l’UNESCO, le bon travail de ses prédécesseurs et lancerait des réformes courageuses pour rendre l’UNESCO plus efficace et plus productive.

Paris 11th October 2017: UNESCO has achieved many milestones in the fields of education, culture, science and communication despite facing many challenges.
This was stated by the Ambassador of Pakistan to France and Pakistan’s Permanent Delegate to UNESCO Moin ul Haque in his country statement at the 202nd session of UNESCO Executive Board held in Paris yesterday.
Ambassador Moin ul Haqwue said that UNESCO has provided the world community an ideal platform dialogue, intellectual discourse and advocacy of soft power to bridge distances between nations and to collectively work for peace and prosperity. He assured that Pakistan would continue to work together with the global community in striving for an equitable, just, tolerant, open and socially inclusive world to make it a better place for our future generations.
The Ambassador appreciated services of the outgoing DG, UNESCO Ms. Irina Bokova for her effective and able stewardship of the organization. Election of new Director General is also taking place during this session. Moin ul Haque hoped that the new Director General would with the full support of the UNESCO member states would carry on the good work of his or her predecessors and will initiate bold reforms to make UNESCO more effective and productive.

پیرس: 11 اکتوبر2017ء: یونیسکو نے بہت سی مشکلات کے باوجود تعلیم، ثقافت، سائنس اور مواصلات کے شعبوں میں سنگ میل کی حیثیت حاصل کر لی ہے۔
یہ بات سفیر پاکستان برائے فرانس و مستقل رکن برائے یونیسکو معین الحق نے یونیسکو کے ایگزیگٹیو بورڈ کے 202 ویں اجلاس میں کہی جو کل پیرس میں منعقد ہوا۔
سفیر پاکستان معین الحق نے کہا کہ یونیسکو نے عالمی برادری کو دانشورانہ بحث اور مثبت طاقت کے استعمال کیلئے ایک مثالی پلیٹ فارم مہیاکیا ہے تاکہ قوموں کے درمیان امن اور خوشحالی کی حمایت کیلئے اجتماعی طور پر کام کرسکیں۔ انہوں نے یقین دہانی کرائی ہے کہ پاکستان عالمی برادری کے ساتھ مل کر بہتر، منصفانہ اور سماجی رواداری کیلئے کام کرتا رہے گا تاکہ پوری دنیا میں آنے والی نسلوں کیلئے امن قائم ہو سکے۔

Paris 25th Sept, 2017. Ambassador of Pakistan to France Moin ul Haque said that Pakistan will continue to support and nurture game of Cricket in France which has now become a symbol of Pakistan France Friendship.
He said this while addressing the Prize Distributing ceremony of the third edition of Jinnah Championship Trophy held at the town of Dreux near Paris, yesterday.
Mr. Gerard Hamel Mayor of Dreux, M. Prebagarane Balance the President of France Cricket, diplomats from the cricket-playing nations, senior officials from the French Ministry of Sports and Olympic Committee and the city administration of Dreux, and large number of cricket lovers witnessed the Prize distribution ceremony.
Ambassador who was the chief guest on the occasion said that successful holding of Pakistan sponsored three editions of Jinnah Champions Trophy since 2015 had greatly helped in promoting the game of cricket in France which was becoming increasingly popular amongst the local youth. He thanked Peshawar Zalmi for being partner in supporting the event.
Ambassador also congratulated the city of Paris for winning the hosting rights for 2024 Olympic Games. He expressed the hope that cricket could become part of these Olympic Games in Paris.
Mayor of Dreux thanked the Ambassador of Pakistan for sponsoring the event and expressed the support of his city to further upgrade the cricket stadium and allied infrastructure.
Final of Jinnah Trophy was won by the United Sri Lankan Cricket Association (USCA) by defeating the Paris University Club (PUC) by 8 wickets
Jinnah Championship Trophy started three years ago has now become the biggest and most prestigious tournament in cricket circle of France. In all 24 teams participated in the Jinnah Champions Trophy from all over France.

پیرس: 25 ستمبر2017ء: معین الحق سفیر پاکستان برائے فرانس نے کہا کہ پاکستان فرانس میں کرکٹ کے کھیل کے فروغ کیلئے اپنی کوششیں جاری رکھے گا اور فرانس میں کرکٹ پاکستان فرانس دوستی کی علامت بن کر ابھر رہا ہے۔
یہ بات انہوں نے جناح چمپیئن ٹرافی کے تیسری مرحلے کی تقریب تقسیم انعامات کے موقع پر کہی جو پیرس کے نزدیک دروکس میں کل منعقد ہوئی۔

سفیر پاکستان نے اولمپکس گیم کو پیرس میں کرانے پر مبارک باد پیش کی۔ انہوں نے امید ظاہر کی کہ کرکٹ کو پیرس میں ہونے والے اولمپکس گیم میں شامل کیا جاسکتا ہے۔
دروکس کے میئر نے سفیر پاکستان کا اس کھیل کے انعقاد اور شہر کے کرکٹ سٹیڈیم کو جدید بنانے اور اس کی تزئین و آرائش کیلئے تعاون کرنے پر ان کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔
جناح ٹرافی کا فائنل متحدہ سری لنکن کرکٹ ایسوسی ایشن نے پیرس یونیورسٹی کلب سے 8 وکٹوں سے جیت لیا۔
جناح چمپیئین ٹرافی گذشتہ تین سالوں سے جاری ہے اور اب فرانس میں بڑے اور دلچسپ کرکٹ ٹورنامنٹ کے سرکل میں داخل ہو چکی ہے۔ جناح چمپیئن ٹرافی میں فرانس سمیت کل 24 ٹیموں نے شرکت کی۔

Le Baloutchistan est sur la bonne voie en ce qui concerne l’amélioration en matière de sécurité et le projet CPEC
Paris, le 23 septembre 2017.
Le Gouverneur du Baloutchistan, Muhammad Khan Achakzai, a déclaré que le Baloutchistan était sur la voie du progrès, de la paix et de la prospérité avec le lancement du CPEC et l’amélioration des conditions de sécurité dans la province.
Il a dit cela en s’adressant aux doyens et notables de la communauté pakistanaise, qui sont venus le rencontrer à l’ambassade à Paris aujourd’hui. L’Ambassadeur du Pakistan en France, S.E. M. Moin ul Haque était également présent à cette occasion. Le Gouverneur est en visite à Paris dans le cadre de sa tournée dans les principales capitales européennes.
Le Gouverneur a déclaré que le lancement du projet du CPEC, l’achèvement du port en eau profonde de Gwadar et l’amélioration de la situation en matière de sécurité avaient contribué à la relance des activités sociales et économiques dans la province.
Il a dit que la plus haute priorité pour le gouvernement était de mener à bien le travail de développement au Baloutchistan pour le bien-être de la population et de mettre la province au même niveau que les autres provinces. Il a informé les membres de la communauté de certains grands projets qui ont été lancés dans la province dans les secteurs de l’énergie, de l’éducation, de la santé et de l’agriculture.

Balochistan is well on path of Progress with improved security situation and CPEC Project
Paris 23rd Sept, 2017. The Governor of Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai said that Balochistan was well on the path of Progress, peace, prosperity with the launch of CPEC and improved security situation in the province.
He said that while taking to elders and notables of Pakistan community who called on him at Embassy in Paris today. Ambassador of Pakistan to France Moin ul Haque was also present on the occasion. Governor is visiting Paris as part of his tour to key European capitals.
The Governor said that launch of CPEC project, completion of the deep sea port of Gawadar and the improved law and order situation had helped in the revival of social and economic activities in the province.
He said that government is according highest priority to carry out development work in Balochistan of the welfare of the people and to bring the province at par with the other provinces. He briefed the participants about some major projects which have been launched in the province in the energy, education, health and agriculture sectors.
بلوچستان بہتر سکیورٹی صورت حال اور سی پیک منصوبے کی وجہ سے ترقی کی راہ پر گامزن ہے
پیرس: 23 ستمبر2017ء: گورنر بلوچستان محمد خان اچکزئی نے کہا کہ صوبہ سی پیک منصوبہ شروع ہونے اور صوبے میں بہتر امن و امان کی صورتحال کی وجہ سے ترقی، خوشحالی اور امن کی راہ پر گامزن ہے۔
اس بات کا اظہار انہوں نے آج پیرس میں پاکستان کے سفارت خانہ میں پاکستانی کمیونٹی سے ہونے والی ایک ملاقات میں کیا۔ جس میں فرانس میں مقیم تارکین وطن، اکابرین اور صحافیوں کی کثیر تعداد نے شرکت کی۔ اس موقع پر سفیر پاکستان جناب معین الحق بھی موجود تھے۔ فرانس میں گورنر کا دورہ ان کے یورپی دارالحکومتوں کے دوروں کی ایک کڑی ہے۔

Paris 22nd Sept, 2017. A Pakistan food pavilion artistically decorated with the handicrafts, truck art and spices of Pakistan was the centre of attraction during the 2nd edition of the three day international Gastronomy Festival held in Paris from 22nd– 24th of this month.
The Ambassador of Pakistan to France Moin ul Haque attended the inauguration ceremony of the Festival along with other Ambassadors. Speaking on the occasion he said that the setting up of Pakistan Pavilion in the heart of Paris was a part of the public diplomacy initiative launched by the Embassy last year to promote the soft image of Pakistan.
He also visited the Pakistan Pavilion where authentic food was offered to the visitors. People from many nationalities, international tourists and French food lovers enjoyed the Pakistani cuisine arranged by famous local Pakistani Zaiqa restaurant.
Over forty countries from around the world are taking part in the three day event organized by the French Ministry of Economy at the banks of River Seine in Paris.
پاکستانی فوڈ سٹال پیرس میں لگائے گئے فوڈ میلے میں توجہ کا مرکز بنا رہا
پیرس: 22 ستمبر2017ء: پاکستانی کھانوں کا منفرد سٹال جو کہ پاکستانی دستکاری کے نمونوں، ٹرک آرٹ اور پاکستانی مصالحوں سے انتہائی خوبصورتی اور مہارت سے سجایا گیا تھا جو فرانسیسی اور بین الاقوامی افراد کی توجہ کا مرکز بنا رہا۔ پاکستانی کھانوں کا یہ سٹال فرانس کے شہر پیرس کے مرکز میں منعقد کیلئے جانے والے دوسرے تین روزہ بین الاقوامی کھانوں کے میلے میں لگایا گیا تھا۔
سفیر پاکستان برائے فرانس معین الحق نے دوسرے ممالک کے سفیروں کے ساتھ میلے ک افتتاح کیا۔ اس موقع پر خطاب کرتے ہوئے سفیر پاکستان نے کہا کہ پیرس کے مرکز میں لگائے جانے والے فوڈ میلے میں پاکستان کے لذیز کھانوں کا سٹال سفارت خانہ کی طرف سے متعارف کروائی جانے والی عوامی سفارت کاری کا حصہ ہونے کے علاوہ اس کا تعلق پاکستان کی آزادی کے ستر سال مکمل ہونے والی تقریبات کے ساتھ بھی ہے۔ جس کا مقصد پاکستان کے مثبت امیج میں اضافہ کرنا ہے۔
انہوں نے پاکستانی فوڈ سٹال کا دورہ بھی کیا جہاں خاص طور پر پاکستانی کھانے آنے والے مہمانوں کو پیش کیئے جا رہے تھے۔ مختلف قومیتوں، بین الاقوامی سیاحوں اور فرانسیسی کھانوں کے شوقین لوگوں نے پاکستانی کھانوں کا خوب لطف اٹھایا جس کا اہتمام مشہور مقامی پاکستانی ذائقہ ریسٹورنٹ کی جانب سے کیا گیا تھا۔
اس تین روزہ میلے کا اہتمام فرانس کی وزارت معیشت کی طرف سے پیرس میں دریائے سین کے کنارے کیا گیا تھا۔ جس میں پوری دنیا سے 40سے زیادہ ممالک نے شرکت کی۔

C’est ce qu’a déclaré l’Ambassadeur du Pakistan en France, S.E.M. Moin ul Haque, lors de sa visite au Pavillon du Pakistan, inauguré aujourd’hui à Paris lors de la 41ème édition du salon Texworld, où les produits textiles pakistanais de haute qualité et à valeur ajoutée sont présentés pour attirer acheteurs et visiteurs.
L’Ambassadeur a apprécié la variété des tissus haut de gamme ainsi que des vêtements en coton et des jeans, qui répondent aux goûts et préférences des clients européens.
L’Ambassadeur a également rencontré chacun des exposants individuellement et les a remercié de leur participation au salon qui contribuera à introduire les divers produits textiles pakistanais et donnera également un nouvel élan, très nécessaire, aux exportations pakistanaises vers le lucratif marché européen. Quelques-uns des principaux groupes et exportateurs pakistanais de textiles comme Nishat Mills, Kohinoor, Sapphire, Liberty Textiles, Kamal Limited, Masood Textiles et Lucky Textiles participent au salon.
Texworld, qui a lieu deux fois par an, est un salon très prisé des professionnels de l’industrie textile et de la mode. C’est une porte d’entrée à la fois précieuse et efficace au marché européen pour les fabricants de textiles internationaux.

36 Pakistan companies are participating in Texworld Paris to boost Textile Exports
Paris September 19, 2017. The participation of the 36 Pakistani companies in the Texworld exhibition would greatly help in giving an impetus to the exports of textile products to the European markets.
This was stated by the Ambassador of Pakistan to France Moin ul Haque during his visit to Pakistan Pavilion established at the 4-day 41st Edition of Texworld fair in Paris today where Pakistan’s high quality and value added textile products where showcased to attract buyers and visitors.
The Ambassador appreciated the variety of high end fabrics, cotton wears, jeans and which meet the taste and preferences of European clients.
The Ambassador also met each exhibitor individually and thanked them for their participation which would help in introducing Pakistan’s diverse textile products and would also provide much needed boost to the Pakistan’s textile exports to the lucrative European market. Some of the major Pakistani textile groups/exporters like Nishat Mills, Kohinoor, Sapphire, Liberty Textiles, Kamal Limited, Masood Textiles and Lucky Textiles participated in the exhibition.
The Texworld held twice every year is a popular trade fair exclusively for professionals from the textile and fashion industry. It is a valuable and efficient gateway to the European market for international textile manufacturers.

ان خیالات کا اظہار سفیر پاکستان جناب معین الحق نے آج پیرس میں منعقد ہونے والی چار روزہ اکتالیسویں ٹیکس ورلڈ نمائش میں پاکستانی سٹالز کے دورے کے دوران کیا۔ جہاں پاکستان کی اعلی اور معیاری کپڑے کی مصنوعات خریداروں کی توجہ کا مرکز بنی ہوئی تھیں۔
سفیر پاکستان نے ریشم،سوتی کپڑے اور جینزکے بنائے ہوئے مختلف ملبوسات جو حاض طو رپر یوپین خریداروں کیلئے تیار کیئے گئے تھے کی تعریف کی۔
سفیر پاکستان نے ہر پاکستانی سٹال پر جا کرسٹال مالکان سے انفرادی طور پر ملاقاتیں کی اور نمائش میں حصہ لینے پر ان کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ان کی شمولیت کی وجہ سے پاکستانی کپڑے کی مصنوعات کو فرانس میں متعارف کروانے اور یورپ کی پرکشش منڈیوں میں پاکستانی ٹیکسٹائل مصنوعات کی برآمدات میں اضافہ کرنے میں مدد ملے گی۔
پاکستان کی کپڑے کی صنعت کے نامور گروپوں اوربرآمدکنندگان نے بھی اس نمائش میں شرکت کی جن میں نشاط ملز، کوہ نور، سفائر، لبرٹی ٹیکسائل، کمال لمیٹڈ، مسعود ٹیکسٹائل اور لکی ٹیکسٹائل شامل ہیں۔

Le premier Grand Festival du Pakistan en France, organisé pour célébrer les 70 ans de l’indépendance du Pakistan, a pris fin aujourd’hui dans la banlieue parisienne et fut une occasion spectaculaire pour présenter la culture, l’artisanat, la mode, la musique et la cuisine pakistanais.
Le Festival, inauguré conjointement par l’Ambassadeur du Pakistan en France, S.E. M. Moin ul Haque, le député français M. François Pupponi et le maire de Sarcelles, M. Nicolas Maccioni, a reçu la visite de diplomates, maires et adjoints aux maires français, membres de la société civile française, journalistes et expatriés pakistanais en grand nombre.
Dans son allocution à la cérémonie inaugurale qui a débuté avec le chant des hymnes nationaux pakistanais et français, l’Ambassadeur du Pakistan en France S.E. M. Moin ul Haque a félicité la communauté pakistanaise à l’occasion du 70e anniversaire de l’indépendance du Pakistan.
L’Ambassadeur a déclaré que le but de ce festival était de sensibiliser la communauté pakistanaise et aussi nos amis français à l’importance du 70e anniversaire de l’indépendance du Pakistan, et de leur faire découvrir la richesse de la culture et la musique pakistanaise, l’héritage populaire du Pakistan et ses paysages magnifiques, qui présentent autant d’opportunités touristiques.
L’Ambassadeur a dit que ce festival a également rassemblé la communauté pakistanaise sur une même plateforme, et leur a fourni l’occasion de consolider leur attachement au pays et démontrer leurs compétences créatives et artistiques.
Le député M. François Pupponi et le maire de Sarcelles, M. Nicolas Maccioni, qui ont également pris la parole à cette occasion, ont décrit la communauté pakistanaise comme étant une communauté paisible et amicale et ont déclaré que ce festival a non seulement donné au public français une occasion rare de visiter le Pakistan en version miniature en France, mais qu’il améliorerait également les relations bilatérales entre les deux pays.
L’Ambassadeur a remis des plaques commémoratives aux invités d’honneur français en reconnaissance de leurs services pour le bien-être de la communauté pakistanaise.
Plus tôt, le festival a débuté en grande pompe avec des chants patriotiques et un tableau vivant présenté par des écoliers, suivi de vibrants discours rendant hommage au père fondateur le Quaid-e-Azam et aux leaders du mouvement pour l’indépendance. Les orateurs ont également parlé de la richesse de l’histoire, des trésors archéologiques, des sites touristiques et de l’artisanat du Pakistan, sans oublier son héritage culturel et sociale.
Le spectacle culturel et le défilé de mode organisés par la communauté pakistanaise ont volé la vedette avec des danses folkloriques et la présentation magnifique d’habits pakistanais représentant les styles vestimentaires passés et contemporains de diverses régions du Pakistan.
Les pavillons nommés d’après les régions du Pakistan ont attiré un grand nombre de visiteurs, leur offrant une occasion rare de profiter de la nourriture riche et épicée du Pakistan. Un spectacle de magie, un tirage au sort, le tatouage au henné, une exposition photographique, des jeux pour enfants et un concours de cerf-volant furent les points forts du festival.
Le chanteur pakistanais de renommée mondiale, Jawwad Ahmad, qu’on a fait venir spécialement du Pakistan pour le festival, a illuminé la soirée avec ses chants patriotiques, la musique soufie et ses chansons célèbres.
La soirée a pris fin avec l’engagement de faire de ce festival un événement annuel en France.

First ever Grand Pakistan Festival in France ended with a resounding success in Paris
Paris September 17, 2017. The first ever mega Pakistan Festival held to celebrate 70 years of Pakistan’s independence concluded in suburbs of Paris today after a splendid display of Pakistan’s culture, handicrafts, fashion, music and cuisine.
The Festival was jointly inaugurated by the Ambassador of Pakistan to France Moin ul Haque, member of French parliament Mr. Francois Pupponi and Mayor of Sarcelles town Mr. Nicolas Maccioni. Thousands of people from various walks of life including local French officials, diplomats, members of French Civil Society, media persons and expatriate Pakistanis attended the festival.
While addressing the inaugural ceremony which commenced with the playing of Pakistani and French national anthems, the Ambassador congratulated the Pakistani community on completing the 70 years of independence.
He said that this festival had multiple objectives from celebrating the 70th anniversary of Pakistan’s independence, showcasing the richness of Pakistani cultural diversity and the beauty of its magnificent landscapes introducing Pakistani cuisine and music, to bringing together the Pakistani community on a single platform for a common cause.
Member of French parliament, Mr. Francoise Pupponi and Mayor of Sarcelles town Mr. Nicolas Maccioni who also spoke on the occasion termed the Pakistan community as hardworking, peaceful and friendly and said that this festival had not only provide the French public a rare chance to experience a mini Pakistan in France but would also improve the bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Ambassador also presented commemoratory shields to the French guests in recognition of their services for the welfare and wellbeing of Pakistan community.
Earlier, the festival commenced with great fan and fare by singing of the patriotic songs and brilliant show of tableaus by the young school students followed by speeches to pay tribute to Quaid-e-Azam and leaders of Independence movement. The speakers also underscored the rich history, archaeological treasures, touristic opportunities, handicrafts and diverse cultural and social traditions of Pakistan.
Culture and Fashion show organized by the Pakistan community stole the limelight by spectacle performance of folkdances and magnificent display of Pakistani dresses depicting past and contemporary styles of various regions of Pakistan.
The pavilion names after various regions of Pakistan attracted the visitors wherein Pakistani authentic food offering variety of dishes and snacks provided the visitors a rare opportunity to enjoy the rich and spicy food of Pakistan.
The magic show, raffle draw, mehndi tattooing, photographic exhibition, children games and kite flying competition were also the highlights of the Festival.
Mr. Jawad Ahmad, the world-renowned Pakistani singer who had specially flown from Pakistan for the festival enlightened the evening with heartwarming patriotic songs, sufi music and his famous numbers.
The festival concluded with the pledge to make this Festival an annual feature in France.
Pakistan and France have forged strong and lasting cooperation in the Education field
Paris, 30th August, 2017: The Ambassador of Pakistan to France Moin ul Haque has said that Pakistan and France have forged strong and long-lasting cooperation in academic and scientific fields to open doors of French institutes of higher learning for the Pakistani students.
He said this while talking to 61-member group of Students of Iqra University of Pakistan which called on him at the Embassy of Pakistan to France, in Paris, today.
The Ambassador said that over 700 Pakistani students are currently pursuing their Master and Doctorate Degree Programs in the engineering, Management and research fields in the French institutes of higher learning, which would help provide high quality human resources to Pakistan’s growing and expanding industrial, infrastructure development and manufacturing sectors.
He apprised the students about Pakistan-France Joint Research Program (PERIDOT) which provides a platform to Pakistani and French researcher to interact for joint research activities.
The students of Iqra University, mostly from BBA and MBA disciplines and led by seven faculty members, are currently visiting various European countries including France as part of their ten days long study visit.

پیرس: 30 اگست2017ء: پاکستان کے سفیر برائے فرانس جناب معین الحق نے کہا ہے کہ پاکستان اور فرانس کے درمیان تعلیم اور سائنس کے میدانوں میں مربوط تعلقات کا قیام عمل میں لایا جاچکا ہے۔ جس کی وجہ سے فرانس میں اعلی تعلیمی اور تحقیقی اداروں میں پاکستانی طالبعلموں کیلئے دروازے کھل چکے ہیں۔
انہوں نے یہ بات اقراء یونیورسٹی کے 61 رکنی وفد سے باتیں کرتے ہوئے کہی جن سے انہوں نے پاکستانی سفارت خانہ، پیرس میں آج ملاقات کی۔
سفیر پاکستان نے کہا کہ پاکستان کے 700 سے زیادہ طالبعلم فرانس کے اعلی تعلیمی اداروں میں انجینئرنگ، منیجمنٹ اورتحقیق کے میدانوں میں ماسٹر اور پی ایچ ڈی کی ڈگریوں کیلئے تعلیم حاصل کر رہے ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ طالبعلم پاکستان واپس جا کر پاکستان میں تیزی سے ترقی کرتے ہوئے صنعتی، مواصلات، اور مینیوفکچرنگ شعبہ میں اعلی تعلیم یافتہ افراد کی کمی کو پورا کرنے میں مدد گار ثابت ہونگے۔
انہوں نے طالبعلموں کو فرانس اور پاکستان کے درمیان ہونے والے مشترکہ تحقیقی پروگرام (PERIDOT) کے بارے میں بھی آگاہ کیا اس پروگرام کی وجہ سے تعلیمی میدان میں پاکستان اور فرانس تحقیق کیلئے مشترکہ مرکز کا قیام ممکن ہو سکا ہے۔

Paris, le 30 août, 2017. L’Ambassadeur du Pakistan en France, S.E. M. Moin ul Haque, a déclaré que le Pakistan et la France ont forgé une coopération forte et durable dans les domaines de l’éducation et de la science afin faciliter l’accès des étudiants pakistanais aux établissements d’enseignement supérieur français.
L’Ambassadeur s’adressait à un groupe de 61 étudiants de l’Université Iqra du Pakistan qui lui ont rendu visite aujourd’hui à l’Ambassade du Pakistan en France, à Paris.
L’Ambassadeur a indiqué que les deux pays ont lancé le Programme conjoint de recherche Pakistan-France (PERIDOT) en 2015 pour renforcer davantage la coopération bilatérale dans le domaine des sciences et de l’enseignement supérieur, ce qui a conduit à l’augmentation du nombre d’étudiants pakistanais accédant le système éducatif français.
En répondant aux questions, l’Ambassadeur a indiqué que plus de 700 étudiants pakistanais poursuivent actuellement leurs études de maîtrise et de doctorat dans les domaines de l’ingénierie, de la gestion et de la recherche aux instituts français d’enseignement supérieur, ce qui contribuerait à fournir des ressources humaines de haute qualité au secteur industriel, au développement des infrastructures et à l’industrie manufacturière pakistanaise, qui sont en pleine expansion.
L’Ambassadeur a indiqué que l’Ambassade du Pakistan travaille également avec plusieurs universités françaises pour organiser l’ouverture de leurs campus au Pakistan en collaboration avec leurs homologues pakistanais.
Les 61 étudiants de l’Université d’Iqra, pour la plupart issus des disciplines BBA et MBA, encadrés par sept membres du corps professoral, visitent actuellement plusieurs pays européens, dont la France, dans le cadre d’un voyage d’étude de dix jours.

Paris, le 14 août 2017 : Une cérémonie de levée de drapeau a eu lieu aujourd’hui à l’ambassade du Pakistan à Paris pour célébrer le 70e anniversaire de l’indépendance du Pakistan. La communauté pakistanaise a assisté à la cérémonie en grand nombre.
Les messages spéciaux du Président et du Premier ministre ont été délivrés à l’assistance à cette occasion. Dans son allocution, L’ambassadeur S.E. M. Moin ul Haque a félicité la communauté pakistanaise ainsi que toute la nation pakistanaise à cette occasion historique. Il a déclaré que le 70e anniversaire de l’Indépendance du pays constituait une étape importante dans notre parcours remarquable pour bâtir un Pakistan pacifique et plus fort. Il a salué les efforts inlassables et les sacrifices des musulmans de l’Inde sous la direction dynamique du Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah pour obtenir la liberté et une patrie séparée pour les musulmans du sous-continent.
Il s’est dit confiant que tous les Pakistanais travailleraient ensemble pour la croissance et le développement du pays et pour réaliser la vision de nos pères fondateurs pour faire du Pakistan un état moderne et prospère.
Portant le costume national, de jeunes pakistanais, filles et garçons, ont chanté des chants patriotiques en agitant des drapeaux du pays.

Flag hoisting ceremony held at Embassy to celebrate 70th year of Pakistan’s Independence
Paris 14th August, 2017: An elegant flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Pakistan Embassy in Paris today to celebrate the 70thanniversary of Pakistan’s Independence. A large number of Pakistani community alongwith their families attended the ceremony.
Special messages of the President and the Prime Minister were read out. Ambassador Moin ul Haque in his address congratulated the Pakistan community and entire Pakistani nation on this historic occasion. He said that 70th Independence Day marks a milestone in our remarkable journey of making Pakistan a peaceful and stronger country. He lauded the untiring efforts and sacrifices rendered by Muslim of India under the dynamic leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah to achieve freedom and a separate homeland for the Muslim of the sub-continent.
He expressed confidence that all Pakistanis would work together for the country’s growth and development and to realize the vision of our founding fathers for making Pakistan a modern and prosperous state.
Young Pakistani girls and boys clad in national dresses and holding national flags sung the patriotic songs.

پیرس: 23 جولائی2017ء: سفیر پاکستان برائے فرانس معین الحق نے کہا کہ پاکستانی کمیونٹی کی جانب سے فرانس میں مختلف کھیلوں اور ثقافتی سرگرمیوں کے انعقاد سے پاکستان اور پاکستانی کمیونٹی کا تصور فرانس میں بہتر ہو رہا ہے۔
یہ بات سفیر پاکستان نے پاکستانی کمیونٹی کی جانب سے منعقد کیئے گئے والی بال ٹورنامنٹ کے موقع پر کہی جو گذشتہ روز پیرس کے نواحی علاقے میں منعقد کیا گیا تھا۔ جسے پاکستانی کمیونٹی کے علاوہ فرانسیسی شہریوں کی بڑی تعداد نے دیکھا۔
سفیر پاکستان نے والی بال ٹورنامنٹ کی انتظامیہ کو کامیاب ٹورنامنٹ کے انعقاد پر مبارک باد پیش کی۔ جس کا انعقاد پاکستان کی آزادی کے 70ویں سال کے مکمل ہونے کے سلسلے میں ہونے والی تقریبات کی مناسبت سے کیا گیا تھا۔
انہوں نے ٹورنامنٹ کے شاندار انعقاد، کھیل کے دوران بہترین نظم و ضبط کا مظاہرہ کرنے اور بہترین رویئے کا مظاہرہ کرنے پر کھلاڑیوں کی تعریف کی اور کہا کہ پاکستانی کمیونٹی کی طرف سے اس قسم کی تقریبات کے انعقاد سے فرانس میں پاکستان اور پاکستانی کمیونٹی کا تصور بہتر ہو رہا ہے۔
اس ٹورنامنٹ میں 12 ممالک کی ٹیموں نے شرکت کی جن میں فرانس، اٹلی، سپین، ناروے، ڈنمارک، ندرلینڈاور انگلینڈ کی ٹیمیں شامل ہیں۔ اس ٹورنامنٹ کا انعقاد حیدری والی بال ایسوسی ایشن فرانس نے کیا تھا۔
