Ambassador’s virtual meeting with members of Kashmiri and Pakistani diaspora on the Kashmir issue
Paris 5th June 2020. The Ambassador of Pakistan to France Mr. Moin ul Haque held a virtual meeting today with Kashmiri and Pakistani diaspora in France on the Kashmir issue.
He apprised them of recent developments in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJK) including illegal Indian actions to change the demography of the region.
He told them that the Government of Pakistan under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran stand by the people of Kashmir, and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has raised the Kashmir issue with the United Nations and his counterparts in all important capitals.
He also informed them of the positive role being played by the various human rights organizations, parliamentarians including members of the European Parliament, and journalists around the world in condemning the Indian excesses in IOJK and raising their voice for the fundamental rights of the people of Kashmir.
While appreciating the efforts made by Kashmiri and Pakistani diaspora in France for the Kashmir cause, the Ambassador urged to intensify them and not to forget their Kashmiri brothers and sisters at a time when the world’s attention is focused more towards the coronavirus pandemic.
The Kashmiri and Pakistani community members shared a number of suggestions with the Ambassador so that they could better project the Kashmir cause with one voice. They also assured of their full support to the Embassy and the Government of Pakistan in highlighting the Kashmir issue at all forums in France.

پیرس، 5 جون:2020 جناب معین الحق سفیر پاکستان نے پاکستانی اور کشمیر کے سرکردہ اراکین کے ساتھ آج پیرس میں ورچرئل ملاقات کے دوران انہیں مسئلہ کشمیر کی اہمیت کے بارے میں آگاہ کیا۔
انہوں نے مقبوضہ جموں و کشمیر میں بھارت کی جانب سے حالیہ دنوں میں آبادی کو تبدیل کرنے کیلئے اٹھائے جانے والے غیر قانونی اقدامات کے بارے میں بھی آگاہ کیا۔
سفیر پاکستان نے کمیونٹی کے اراکین کو بتایا کہ وزیراعظم عمران خان کی سربراہی میں حکومت پاکستان کشمیریوں کے ساتھ شانہ بشانہ کھڑی ہے انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ وزیر خارجہ جناب شاہ محمود قریشی نے مسئلہ کشمیر کو اقوام متحدہ اور متعدد دارالحکومتوں اور بہت سے ہم منصبوں کے ساتھ اٹھایا ہے۔
سفیر پاکستان نے انہیں بین الاقومی انسانی حقوق کی متعدد تنظیموں، یورپی پارلیمنٹ کے اراکین کی طرف سے بھارت کی جانب سے مقبوضہ کشمیر میں کیئے جانے والے غیر قانونی، غیر خلاقی اقدامات کی مذمت کے بارے میں آگاہ کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ بین الاقوامی ذرائع ابلاغ کے متعدد نمائندوں نے بھی مقبوضہ جموں و کشمیر میں بھارتی ظلم و بربریت کی شدید مذمت کی ہے اور کشمیری عوام کے بنیادی حقوق کی بحالی پرزور حمایت کی ہے
سفیر پاکستان نے فرانس میں مقیم پاکستانی اور کشمیری کمیونٹی کی جانب سے مسئلہ کشمیر کو اجاگر کرنے کیلئے کی جانے والی کوششوں کی تعریف کی اور ان کوششوں کو مزید تیز کرنے کی ضرورت پر زور دیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ کورونا وائرس کی موزی وباء کے باوجود اپنے کشمیری بہن بھائیوں کو فراموش نہیں کرنا چاہئے اور مسئلہ کشمیر کو دنیا میں اجاکرکرنے کیلئے اپنا کردار ادا کرتے رہنا چاہئے۔
اس اجلاس میں کشمیری اور پاکستانی کمیونٹی کے اراکین نے سفیر پاکستان کو مسئلہ کشمیر کو اجاگر کرنے کیلئے کئی تجاویز پیش کیں اور مسئلہ کشمیر کو متحد ہو کر موثر انداز میں دنیا کے سامنے پیش کرنے کی اہمیت پر زور دیا۔ انہوں نے سفارت خانہ پاکستان اور حکومت پاکستان کو فرانس میں ہر فورم پر اجاگر کرنے کیلئے اپنے مکمل تعاون کی یقین دہانی کرائی۔
